Pulp Making Process
Pulp Making Process is the first process of pulp-molded products and mainly follows pulp molding technology.
- Before pulping, various impurities need to be carefully classified and removed from the source of waste paper because waste paper sources are widespread.
- Then the selected waste paper is ground and pulped to form uniform paper.
- The pulp is blended because the specific gravity, hardness, and color of the raw materials of waste paper differ, so the pulp needs to be blended according to the product requirements to meet customer demands.
- Adhesive is applied to the pulp, and generally, the adhesive used in paper molding is rosin, paraffin emulsion, or rosin-paraffin adhesive. During production, the pulp concentration should be relatively high, about 1%-2%.
Pulp Molding-Drying-Shaping Process
Different from dry process, forming process of pulp molded industrial package is integrated with drying and shaping process with the same equipment – 1 station or 2 stations pulp molding machine. Molded Pulp Industrial Package products get dried and will be ready for trimming or direct packing and delivery. Quick drying would cost more electricity or fuel while providing better surface and efficient production.

Trimming and Packing
Pulp molded products can be used after drying, but sometimes special post-processing is needed, such as coating and printing patterns and text on the surface. According to the characteristics of different
products, manual packaging or automatic packaging machines can be used for counting and packaging.
